Time flies when you’re having fun, and alas the final Ubud Food Festival day has arrived.

Early birds can start the day with free yoga at 7:00am overlooking the Campuhan Ridge – perhaps the best view to accompany a salute to the sun in Bali.

Seize your last day by attending some of the top event picks, including: an important discussion about tempe sovereignty and GMO with Professor FG Winarno (Chairman of Codex Alimentarius Commissions) at 11:30am, followed by the Making it in Asia Food Forum with local foodie heavyweights Eelke Plasmeijer, Janet DeNeefe and Will Goldfarb at 1:00pm.

In succession you can see Cooking Demos from two of Asia’s top 50 chefs, Dave Pynt (Burnt Ends) and Ryan Clift at 9:00am and 10:00am respectively, then sample the ‘Island of the Gods’ with Penny Williams (of Bali Asli) at the 12:00pm. At 1:00pm witness a seriously spicy Samal Cook-off between Made Lugra and Dade Akbar (Warteg Gourmet), followed by at 3:30pm Tim Bartholomew of Hujan Locale showing you how to bring to life a plate that is truly ‘found and foraged’. Tickets start at only 60,000Rp for these sessions.

In between, don’t forget this is your last chance to browse the food and produce stalls, with pop-ups from Pipiltin Cocoa, Alchemy, Javara, Indofood, The Sayan House, Anomali Coffee, Gelato Secrets and more.
