The Ubud Village Jazz Festival 2014 is just around the corner (8th and 9th of August), and we’ve had a couple of warm up pre-events around the island, including one a few days ago at the Pertiwi resort in Ubud.  Although the main event will be a truly international event with some heavy hitters, Ubud Now and Then snuck in just to get a feel of the style of these Indonesian Jazz musicians. We have to say we were impressed – definitely world class. Rio Helmi managed to snap some pics:
